The Lofoten Islands form an archipelago north of the Arctic Circle. This treasure trove of nature offers majestic mountain scenery and deep blue fjords. The climate is particularly mild thanks to the Gulf Stream that runs along the coast.

The perfect lodge
The comfort of a cosy lodge and Scandinavian design.
Our accommodation is located at what people call ‘Scandinavian Venice’.
We have opted for warm and spacious accommodation in the magnificent fishing harbour of Henningsvær. One of the most beautiful fishing villages in the
whole archipelago.
This Lodge was an old fisherman’s house from 1870 and has been completely renovated in 2016.
Old parts of the house have been preserved adding all the comfort, the colour of the exterior of the Lodge is the original light green and the interior is a modern and minimalist Scandinavian style.
You choose the length of your trip, with a minimum stay of 3 nights bed and breakfast.
In the centre of Henningsvaer, right on the sea.
With direct access to the sea and only a few metres from supermarkets and public services.
It offers all the necessary facilities for your stay: a relaxing lounge, comfortable rooms,
sauna with access to the sea and a kitchen where the staff will prepare a magnificent breakfast
for you.

Our boat Axopar 37 is perfectly adapted to navigate the fjords; quickly and safely, it can cover a distance of more than 35 nautical miles in less than 60 minutes.
The spacious, air-conditioned cabin offers unrivalled comfort to enjoy the scenery on the move.
We offer you the possibility of daily charters with different proposals from HENNINSVAER, including trekking activities if you wish.

Local Gastronomy Dinners. Gastronomy in Lofoten has an Arctic flavour, with local products such as Skrei-cod, Reindeer or Arctic Raspberry ‘Multe’.
And our staff will offer you delicious dinners with local products if you wish. You only have to book your dinner 24 hours in advance.
