Stay in Henningsvaer, the “Scandinavian Venice” in an authentic, comfortable and premium lodge, recently refurbished to enjoy the Norwegian nature, activities and culture.
We propose, among other things, to get to know a bit of the archipelago through various experiences such as sailing one day to Trollfjord from Henningsvaer (45 nautical miles) and going fishing another day or, if fishing is not your thing, watching a magnificent sunset at midnight with our exclusive boat Axopar 37. In addition, we offer you another day of activity, to choose by you, between trekking, climbing, coasteering or snorkelling.
You will choose the duration of the trip: 5, 6 or 7 nights, full board and 3 days where we offer you different activities.
The Lodge has bicycles to visit Henningsvaer, its cafes, shops and bars. And of course, Stand Up Paddle for the more adventurous and a sauna to end your summer days in Lofoten.

Our Logde
A SCANDINAVIAN LODGE. COMFORTABLE. MODULABLE
“On the water itself”. An authentic restored fisherman’s house situated right on the fjord.
This lodge was an old fisherman’s house from 1870 and has been completely renovated in 2016.
Old parts of the house have been preserved adding all the comfort.
The colour of the exterior of the Lodge is the original, a very characteristic light green, while the interior is a modern, minimalist Scandinavian style.
The main house has 5 bedrooms: 3 double rooms, 1 twin room and 1 room with 3 single beds. It also has 3 complete bathrooms.
The lodge has a second annexe with two bedrooms: 1 double and 1 twin in the attic, with 1 bathroom.
In total there are 15 places available.
This magnificent lodge is located basically on the sea, a very typical construction of the area.
The house has a living room with a fireplace and TV for relaxing, as well as several spaces and corners for reading, and a large kitchen where breakfast will be served by the hosts of the house.
On the lower floor, there is a second kitchen-dining room with a large wood-burning oven, where Sigurd and Ann-Cathrin bake, among other things, the bread for breakfast.
On this floor there is also space to leave the equipment and dry it, as well as a sauna with direct access to the sea for the more daring.
There is also a Stand Up Paddle for those who want to enjoy Henningsvaer by the sea and Bicycles to ride around the village.

What could be better than arriving at the Lodge after a hard day’s activity and enjoying a leisurely aperitif followed by dinner in good company?
Every evening, our chef will prepare a three-course dinner. This menu, prepared with fresh and quality products, will allow you to discover the traditional cuisine of the region.

Day 1. Travel to Svolvaer from your departure airport. Transfer to Henningsvaer.
Welcome and transfer to Henningsvaer to stay in our exclusive Lodge where you will live during your stay. Welcome dinner and briefing of the week with the programmed activities.
DAYS 2 to 5. Three days of activities to discover Henningsvaer and its islands.
Day 2:
- Breakfast at the lodge and preparation of your Pic Nic.
- Boat trip to Trollfjord, with a total of 50 nautical miles, to enjoy one of the narrowest and most beautiful fjords in Norway.
- Return to the Lodge, but not before stopping at Svolvaer harbour to get to know this magnificent Lofoten harbour.
- Arrival at the Lodge.Rest. Possibility to explore Henningsvaer and its cafes by bike or walking.
- Dinner at the Lodge.
Day 3:
- Breakfast at the Lodge and preparation of the Pic Nic.
- Preparation for the chosen activity.
- You can choose between trekking, climbing in these alpine mountains, or if you are more of a sea lover, why not try coasteering or snorkelling.
- Return to the lodge.
- Relaxation. We offer you sauna and bath.
- Dinner at the Lodge.
Day 4:
- Breakfast at the Lodge.
- Morning off.
- Lunch at the Lodge or Pic Nic.
- Free afternoon.
- Dinner at the Lodge.
We offer a wide range of activities around Henningsvaer (Golf, Midnight Sun, Snorkling, Kayaking) or just enjoy this magnificent place and take advantage of the bikes, stand up paddles or a bit of reading)..
- Breakfast at the Lodge.
- Free morning to explore Henningsvaer, enjoy stand up paddling or take part in a kayaking activity.
- Lunch and el Lodge.
- Afternoon fishing in the Lofoten Islands: a magical experience, as it’s not just about fishing, but also about enjoying the Arctic marine wildlife. It’s not unusual to see orcas, whales, seals and dolphins – not to be missed! And if going fishing is not your passion, we offer instead the possibility to watch the sunset from our boat, sailing out into the North Atlantic Sea at Gimsøy.
- Return and dinner at the lodge.
